This sounds great... are there existing programs operational at the moment? I know they come and go from time to time

Seed saving campaign
Mullumbimbytommy@ethosglobal.org.au · Started 18 Oct 2026
Some of the organisations based at the Mullum Community Gardens are thinking about creating a seed saving campaign - some workshops and resources and activities designed to support seed sovereignty. Please get in touch if this is of interest: hello@seednorthernrivers.org.au

SiddhHuman tommy@ethosglobal.org.au I spoke to Jim from Byron Hinterland Seed Savers on Friday, and he is keen to be activating the seed saving space as well. Harry and I also had a good yarn with Laodekia, Charlotte and Ken (from the Mullum Men's Shed). Harry was giving us all some great background on the importance of seed sovereignty. So at the me moment I am just observing the interest and enthusiasm for this work. I am not too sure about what formal programs are existing. The Kettle's On event that I posted is a great forum for exploring these ideas fpr anyone with time and capacity on Tuesday mornings (not sure how to cross post to that event?)Seen & read (0) — sign in to acknowledgeSign in to acknowledge.
